It just occurs to me that I spent much of the summer of 1994 studying ancient philosophy (well, Aristotle) with Roderick at an IHS Fellowship in Fairfax, Virginia. Here I am, almost exactly thirty years later, repeating the experience. Scary that thirty years ago is still vivid enough to feel like yesterday.
